Josie Slaughter is from Listuguj First Nation and is mixed Mi’kmaq and English and German settler. Josie studied Creative Industries at Toronto Metropolitan University and is working towards a JD from Dalhousie University. Josie is currently serving as President of the Dalhousie Indigenous Law Students Association.
